Our Commitment
Some of the most important work happens outside the bounds of a formal contract. This page is about that work.
OUR COMMITMENT
Seeds for Change dedicates a portion of its capacity each year to supporting early-stage and under-resourced organisations working on Indigenous rights, land governance, climate, and social justice — at no cost or significantly reduced rates. This is not a programme. It is a commitment we make case by case, to organisations where we believe our support will genuinely matter.
Current Partner

Fundación Ruth Buendía Mestoquiari
Our current pro bono partnership is with the Fundación Ruth Buendía Mestoquiari — an Asháninka-led foundation based in the Río Ene valley in Peru, working to defend the territorial autonomy, cultural rights, and self-determination of Amazonian Indigenous peoples.
Founded by Ruth Buendía Mestoquiari — winner of the 2014 Goldman Environmental Prize and three-term president of the Central Asháninka del Río Ene — the Fundación is building the institutional infrastructure that allows Indigenous communities to govern their own territories, protect their forests, and determine their own futures.
We support the Fundación with communications strategy and fundraising — helping them build the narrative infrastructure and donor relationships that allow them to access resources on their own terms.
